Acrinn what have you done to my war machine

A bunch of sketches based off of the lovely short fic Dextrous Blades by Acrinn45 , a side-fic for Fighting-Tournament . The story started off as more or less testing Kat's reaction to Orion's behavior, and then it kind of slowly AND unexpectedly (from both of us) evolved into them falling for each other x'D I ain't even mad bro I SHIP IT HARD

More importantly, it reminded me that Kat is a person with feelings and hormones and I appreciated the development of the friendship, which flowed very naturally and playfully. Plus I totally loved the second-person-POV Acrinn wrote it from. He also brought in the cool concept of the After-Hours Games, which is a great opportunity for more income for Falconsteak like a miniature street-fight version of FT, which I will probably dive into if/when Kat is eliminated from the tournament.

Drawing for this was also a nice break from the rather intense (compared to my other stuff) vs. Shar round, and great practice in soft/subtle expressions (before last summer when MaikeruTheDude softened me up I would probably never be able to draw or appreciate such things >u>'''' ) (The last three rows of drawings are some of my favorite frames from this quick animation I did --> OrioKat Hug - Rough
